Hope your head stopped hurting. I had a fairly calm, mild boring New Years Eve. One glass of wine and a long bath.
Sometimes those kinds of New Years Eve are the best kind. WHen I was young and a new bride my first husband always worked on NYE and I used to use the time to paint...that was a great ritual to bring in the new year - now I have a different life but I miss that one thing very much -
My past NYE's were a little more exciting when I was teens, twenties and thirties, sometimes even in my 40s. I prefer it this way though.
Can't wait to see you painting again...
